About Geo tools
A small set of geography tools that run entirely in your browser. The Distance tab measures the great-circle (as-the-crow-flies) distance between two points — pick cities from the list or enter latitude/longitude directly — and reports the result in kilometres, miles and nautical miles, plus the initial compass bearing. The Moon tab shows the current Moon phase with its illuminated fraction and age, and the dates of the previous and next principal phases (new, first quarter, full, last quarter). Phase times are mean-value estimates, accurate to within a few hours. Pin the whole page to your dashboard as a single widget.
